Time to Grind......

Friday August 25, 2006

Great news...we have a place to live that's only an hour from work. The whole deal went through at the last minute. The paperwork was signed yesterday, Thursday, and I'm catching a ride back to Oklahoma with my father-in-law tomorrow to finish packing at the old house. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a moving company to the old house in time because they are about four weeks behind, so I had to rent a U-Haul. The good thing is United Space Alliance is reimbursing us for the truck rental and the enroute trip from Oklahoma to Texas. Warm fuzzies about that....
I can't wait to start my new job, get moved into our place, and finally have a little bit of time to breathe. I have been running around setting things up, finding a job, trying to find a house, calling and meeting with realtors, faxing, phone calls.....it's been crazy. Then waiting on pins and needles for the lease paperwork to come through before I had to get back to Oklahoma. God's time table, that's what my realtor said to me as we met for lunch to sign all the paperwork. I'm just glad it all went through and now the only thing I have to worry about is getting the electric turned on at the new house, but I don't even know the electric company for the area. Laura, my realtor, is going to find out for me though. The trials and tribulations of moving. I hate moving....it's so stressful and tiring. Hopefully we will only have to move one more time.....to our dream house once it's built.

I've only got one thing to say.....Let's Ride.
